Happy Holiday's!!

Dear Reader,          Wow, what a busy couple of days. With Christmas behind us, we are quickly moving into the new year. It is crazy how quickly time has flown by. Yesterday I was out in my jeep playing in the sand, and now I look at how sad she is sitting in her storage location. I very much enjoy driving my Jeep and running trails. As you can tell, it kind of bums me out. However, gives me more time to write and work on internal projects.           On a separate note, I did go see the new Avatar Movie. It is so similar to the last two, I wish I had saved my money. I was so bored after an hour and a half of a three-and-a-half-hour movie. I was genuinely disappointed to see that they are promoting the suicide of a teen with a firearm, in addition to drug usage. In the third season, Carrie is waiting for her love to return to her (Aidan), which, let me tell you, he is so not the same guy. I was surprised that t...

Dying to try something new...

Dear Reader,          I have found the best show ever on Netflix. I just finished the series Younger  and have never felt so inspired as I do now. Most of my life, I have felt like I have been chasing a dream, a dream of being a prominent shot business owner. I have dreamed of living in a downtown apartment in Holland, having a loft, with my large, male German Shepherd, and just doing something I love.           The funny thing about being a writer is that you are never just a writer... You work in advertising and promoting your own novels; there is a significant financial component, including making sure you stay within your budget while breaking even or paying your bills with what you write. While writing, you find that you are your own worst enemy in doing your own edits and publishing. In the end, it is your own business, and you get to run it the way you see fit. If you are an indie author, you get to ...
