Happy Holiday's!!

 Dear Reader,

        Wow, what a busy couple of days. With Christmas behind us, we are quickly moving into the new year. It is crazy how quickly time has flown by. Yesterday I was out in my jeep playing in the sand, and now I look at how sad she is sitting in her storage location. I very much enjoy driving my Jeep and running trails. As you can tell, it kind of bums me out. However, gives me more time to write and work on internal projects. 

        On a separate note, I did go see the new Avatar Movie. It is so similar to the last two, I wish I had saved my money. I was so bored after an hour and a half of a three-and-a-half-hour movie. I was genuinely disappointed to see that they are promoting the suicide of a teen with a firearm, in addition to drug usage. The film is rated PG-13, which I suppose is okay, but still, I would recommend not taking anyone younger, as it is more geared toward adults. If you've seen the first two movies, you've definitely already seen the third. 

        So, now onto the writing.... I have been watching a few documentaries on Tubi regarding the Titanic. I was astonished to see the various conspiracy theories about the Titanic. For example, did you know that some believe that the Titanic is her sister ship, the Olympic? They are identical in every respect except the boat's logo. There is a belief that the ships were switched so the White Star Line could claim insurance on the Olympic due to the previous damages. That leads me to believe that they knew the boat was going to sink. They purposely had the Californian close by, but they neglected to answer the wires after someone on the Titanic told them to butt out. 

        I have figured out my character and her purpose. I have also decided that she is going to suffer from imposter syndrome by playing someone that she is not. Going to attempt to research the actual layout of the Titanic to get an understanding of the 1st class deck and what their amenities were. I hope to find accurate information. Although I do have a ton of books, a quick search may lead me to the correct information. Well, off I go. Wish me Luck!

Living Proof

 1 - Minute Prompt:     Ouch! Once upon a time, something unpleasant happened. It caused a physical scar on your body. Locate that scar and give it a good inspection. When finished, write about the scar's size, shape, texture, and quality.  The scar on my right outer knee has been there since childhood. I was on my bike and fell. The fall caused me to have a scar. The scar is oval in shape, whiteish in color, about an inch and a half in length, and less than an inch in width. The scar is rough in texture. In the center it is still sensitive if I push on it hard. Otherwise it does not bother me. It never matches my tan body, if anything it makes it more white.

Throne of the Fallen

  I am currently reading the Throne of the Fallen by Kerri Maniscalco. I have read all of the books that she has published to this point. Kerri Maniscalco is a very talented writer. I really enjoy reading her novels.  I am roughly ten chapters into this book. The novel is set up like many of her others. Each chapter is associated with a characters point of view. This tactic seems to be a favorite of hers, as this is the situation with many of her novels. Both of the main characters are evident in her Kingdom series. Yet, so far in this novel they are telling an entire different story and plot.  This novel is slated as a spicy, romance, fantasy novel and an adult version of her stories. Romance is really not my favorite genre, but it does posses many aspects of fantasy that are of interest to me.  In the story, the antagonist is a "fay" and the protagonist is the "the son of the devil" in addition to other characters that relate to vampire, wolf, etc. Does this kind ...
