Most people can tell when they are in the presence of a writer. We love to tell stories and
always have questions. However, most would say asking several questions is also part of
being a woman. Lol I have always been a writer, just never realized it until the last couple
of years. This is when my writing career really took off. The funny thing is, they never.
warned us writers that your stories haunt you at night. It seems like whenever I go to bed,
that is when my brain never seems to stop. I wish there was a way to record what is
happening in my brain. I never want to get up and write anything down, because if I
did I would not be able to actually go to sleep. I believe this is why writers are night owls,
because as soon as your head hits the pillow it starts. I used to try to have a song on my
mind to sing to myself to avoid the surplus of ideas and the need to write stuff down.
Sometimes I laugh at myself because I can only imagine what people would think about
my inner monologue. I wish these creative thoughts would come to me sooner when I am
trying to write. It would help me avoid writer's block. I wonder what happens to those
writers who work the first shift and give into these nightly thought bubbles. Are they ever
able to get any sleep or are they just up like an insomniac on a non-sleeping binge.
